Since 1938, Buckeye REC has been proud to serve the members of our local communities. We know that our members depend on having access to a reliable source of electricity, and that’s a responsibility we take seriously. As our member, you can rest assured that your co-op team has the best interests of your family and community in mind. The services offered to our members help us run efficiently, maintain stable rates, and give back to the community.

    Being owned and driven by the communities we serve is a commitment Buckeye REC takes seriously. Each year, we invest in youth scholarships, economic development, and community activities to enrich the lives of our members. Buckeye REC also sends several high school students on Youth Tour – a week-long, all-expenses-paid trip to Washington D.C. – with other electric co-op students from across the state and nation.
  2. Timely Restoration Efforts
    Buckeye REC is committed to ensuring our members have reliable access to power. That’s why your co-op invests in the latest technology and our lineworker crews work round-the-clock to restore power during outages. Members can also easily report an outage on our website and keep an eye on outages in their communities.
  3. Clear and Helpful Communication
    We strive to keep our members informed at all times. Buckeye REC sends real-time outage updates to members, provides a variety of payment options and energy conservation tips, and posts regular updates online. We also offer several resources and rebate programs to help members find ways to save on their monthly bills. Plus, our friendly staff is always here to help!
